Private individuals and companies without VAT registration (e.g. holding companies) are able to buy and own wine free of VAT since Nordic Freeport, operates the only public bonded warehouse for wine and spirits in the European Union.

INSURED AT 110% RATE
Wine stored at Nordic Freeport is of course insured. In the case of loss or damage, the wine is either re-acquired or replaced at a rate of 110%.
ANONYMITY
The wine is labeled with your unique ID, which ensures both your anonymity and that there can never be any doubt as to the ownership of the wine. By appointment you can visit Nordic Freeport and inspect your wine.
DOCUMENTED CORRECT STORAGE
The warehouse itself is insulated, and an ultra-modern cooling system keeps the temperature ideal for wine storage. Temperature and humidity are logged and can be documented at all times.
